YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this position you have an important and strong supporting role to ensure raw material supply to all Eckes-Granini entities.

In-Bound (Raw Material Import-Process)

Planning and execution of raw material purchase orders to international suppliers based on defined requirements and contract conditions
Close cooperation with Procurement Managers, Quality Assurance, suppliers and external warehouse provider
Manage raw material stocks incl. inventory with external warehouses according to defined targets
Management of import documents, customs clearance; follow-up on customs codes; maintain master data (back-up)
Process complaints and escalate them to Procurement Managers whenever necessary
Management of invoices (raw materials, customs/duty, external warehouse etc.)
Serve as a first point of contact in case of customs, tax and Intrastat issues

Out-Bound (Raw Material Sales/Export-Process)

  • Ensure provision, release and sales processing of raw materials for all Eckes-Granini sites and co-packers within Europe
  • Manage export of raw materials from warehouse provider: handling purchase orders from customers, confirming, communicating and invoicing
  • Close cooperation with internal customers, Quality Assurance, Procurement Managers, Planning and external warehouse provider
  • Coordinate and leverage planning forecast and actuals of local demands (in cooperation with local Supply Chain)
  • Handle all related documentation and ensure master data management (back-up)
  • Collect and work with requirements of subsidiaries based on the information provided by the local supply chain
  • Handle routine complains towards customers; escalate complex issues to Procurement Managers whenever necessary
  • Manage pricelists incl. communication to customers

YOUR COMPETENCIES:

  • Qualification: academic degree (of advantage) and first experience in international procurement or material management
  • Languages: English (business-fluent, written and oral), German, any other languages (especially French or Danish) are of advantage
  • Professional knowledge: excellent PC skills (SAP MM/SD and MS Office), general supply chain know-how, in-depth knowledge of customs codes and legislation
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Stress-resistant, resilient and flexible
  • Organized, precise working style with attention to detail
  • Strong cooperation skills, team player with ability to feedback
  • Autonomous and agile way of working
