Communications Manager /f/m/d) online/digital marketing

For our client, a large player in the Social Media , we are currently hiring a Communications Manager (f/m/d) Online/Digital Marketing background for Hamburg.

Your role:
As an experienced Communications Manager you manage our client’s Business and SMB public relations activities and campaigns in DACH. This role will support our client’s communications efforts to deliver its overall monetization narrative, advise its business teams in strategic communications planning as well as telling stories of small and mid-sized business (SMB) connecting with our client’s marketing tools. 

 

Your skills:
In collaboration with product, partnerships and sales teams, develop proactive communication plans for products and issues associated with our client’s monetization products.

Conceptualize and execute creative SMB business PR campaigns with media and other partners.
Work cross-functionally with executives across the company as well as peers in communications including product, platform, monetization, corporate, international, policy, etc.

Organize press briefings, media sessions and events and help executives deliver messages succinctly and articulately.
Drive positive coverage in business, regional media, tech and vertical trade press as well as managing social, gained and earned coverage.
Conceptualize and manage events while telling a strong story that cuts through.
Support proactive and reactive communications strategies and day-to-day media handling around all issues touching our client’s marketing solutions.
Build relationships with media, industry analysts, influencers and other external stakeholders.
Help manage external PR agencies and budgets

Your skills:
bachelor’s degree
5+ years relevant professional experience, both agency and in-house preferred
Ability to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines
Strong project management and decision-making skills
Experience in working with PR agencies and contractors
Ability to think and communicate strategically with a variety of people
Excellent oral and written communications skills both in German and English
PR in a digital marketing/online marketing area
