Global Reservations Agent

is part of our global reservations and group sales department providing professional reservations services to the customers of Design Hotels™ and continually improving customer satisfaction with the goal to maximize the financial performance of the department and voice channel.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Handle phone and online requests by end consumers, travel agents and member hotels
• Consult group clients in sourcing hotels for events and conferences
• Convey a high standard of product knowledge and deliver first-class service to individual, high-end and VIP clients as well as travel and event agencies
• Maximize revenue for the voice channel whilst maintaining brand and professional integrity
• Manage travel logistics, handle hotels and provide full dedicated support to clients
• Establish and maintain a close relationship with our member hotels
• Assist and support the team in achieving sales objectives and goals
• Act as an ambassador of the Design Hotels™ brand towards partners, clients and member hotels

Experience & Mindset

• 2 years' work experience in a luxury hotel, travel or event agency, with a sales or reservations background
• Customer-oriented mindset
• Proactive, positive and friendly attitude
• Good problem solver
• Great interpersonal and strong communication skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment
• Proficiency in English and German (verbal and written)
• Experience in working with a PMS/CRS (SynXis, Opera, Fidelio)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
