Test Engineer (BBBH17052) Düsseldorf, Germany

EUR300 - EUR340 per day
Test Engineer- Dusseldorf- 18 month-contract
I am currently working with a global services provider within the Telecommunications industry who are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to work onsite in Dusseldorf for an initial 18-month contract.

Responsibilities
Design, document and maintain test plan, functional test cases including as assigned and applicable test artifacts, test verification results, test data, data validation, automated scripts

Execute & Verify results with manual and automated test cases, report defects, perform defect retests
Work with application teams / scrum teams to get defects & issues resolutions
Perform test case reviews with other streams and cross-functional teams
Supporting Demos, and other phase of testing as needed
Mitigate risk of release by communicating issues and concerns with leads
Proactively point out areas of improvement and Set a good example of testing standards
Collaborate with Development and other Program team members to ensure that testing is efficiently and effectively covering all required testing scenarios

Identify issues, perform root cause analysis, track issues, and work with Development for resolutions
Day to day Activities
You will execute test procedures and/ or scripts either manually or by automated tools.
Tracks and reports on the test execution in a timely manner with attention given to
achieving a high level of quality.
You will gather and document the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage.

You will analyse reports discrepancies to determine the root cause and will evaluate script failures at a high level.
You will compare and analyse system behaviour vs. expected results/KPIs based on business and technical requirements. Identifies issues, proposes system improvements and performs repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues.

You will participate and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials.
You will Support Test Manager / Lead in delivering Test Artefacts, customer reports and execution plan
Qualifications & Required Skills
Experience in working with Agile, SAFe and DevOps processes
Test Execution & planning experience, with proven delivery of testing activities & goals
Experience with designing test cases with automated testing tools, TestNG, REST Assured, Selenium
Experience in test case design and execution for functional and regression testing.
Experience in documenting, communicating & presenting test results
Experience in participating in defect triage up to defect closure by collaborating with application teams and 3rd party teams.
Knowledge of QA / Testing processes and procedures
Strong written and oral communication skills, Quick learner in a fast-paced setting.
Experience to foster relationships with development team, customer and/or 3rd party vendors.
Proactive in finding improvements in executing, performing, and documenting testing activities.
Ability to prioritize testing issues and take appropriate steps to resolve.
Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate tested code to the user community
Must: BSS OSS Rating Charging Test Design & Execution
Desired Skills
German Language desirable
Certifications in ISTQB or other testing certifications
