IPS Technology develops a packaging method that provides optimum protection. We are experts in finding the right balance between protection and other packaging materials demands such as a distinctive appearance and corporate branding. We develop packaging materials in a phased process. Standard elements are used wherever possible. That speeds things up and increases the cost-effectiveness of the packaging and the development process. We combine technical know-how with creativity and in-depth knowledge of the packaging world and our customers. In our test center, assembly and cleaning center we deliver an integrated chain approach that is unique in the market.

 
Your challenge
As a Project Engineer you make an essential contribution to the success of IPS Technology and you are responsible for the engineering of our projects. You deal with:

Realizes the qualification of the design by contributing to the specification;
The development of concepts for packaging solutions and handling and transport tooling;
Making designs in 3D-CAD models, strength calculations and FMEA;
Is responsible for the technical product documentation and design implementation towards manufacturing;
Is responsible for ensuring that prototypes are built and tests are carried out;
Participate in brainstorming sessions and review meetings to guarantee the quality and correct solution direction of your projects and that of colleagues.

 
Your profile
A Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering 
Familiar with design of mechanical constructions in metal and/or experience with high-precision constructions;
Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD systems is a must (Siemens NX, Unigraphics);
Strong analytical skills, able to think on a conceptual level and work hands-on as well;
Relevant working experience is very important;
Highly motivated team player with excellent social, coordination and communication skills;
Flexible and open mindset, anticipating on a challenging and dynamic environment;
Fluent in English, willing to learn Dutch.
