You will be responsible for the sale of cutting-edge ABB robots in Germany (focus on large global customers). Reporting to the Sales Manager Business Line Consumer Segments & Service Robotics (CSSR) you will use your experience and drive to build long-standing customer relationships, identifying effective solutions for customer needs.

Your responsibilities

  • Driving sales volume and margin across the Robotics portfolio with focus on logistics solutions
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions
  • Preparing sales plans and bids
  • Providing customers with products/solutions/services in line with volume, mix and profitability targets
  • Contributing to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with global teams
  • Monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing team
  • Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate response strategies
  • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
  • Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluating data to ensure achievement of goals
  • Monitoring and providing reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence

Your background

  • A specific degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable degree
  • Several years of experience in Sales with experience in Robotics business or industrial automation, preferable in intralogistics
  • Able to collaborate with international teams.
  • Knowledge in sales force and web-based tools
  • German and English business fluent
  • 80% willingness to travel, working out of homeoffice
