Major purpose of the job: 
 
The
Global Veterinary Diagnostics Training Specialist
position is an integral member of the Above The Market (ATM) organization and is linked to the
International Diagnostics Customer Care
Division. The main mission in this role is to train and develop customized training curriculum for the Field Force Diagnostics Specialists (DSS, DAS, L1CC) and Distribution Partners on the ZOETIS Diagnostics portfolio for the companion animal business.

 An additional key expectation in this role is to work in strong relationship with
the international markets’ business leads to ensure an effective training program in alignment with the local strategies and requirements.
the IL&D (international Learning & Development) to be aligned with IL&D standards, processes and tools.
the ATM divisions (International Diagnostics Medical, International Diagnostics Marketing and International Diagnostics Commercial Operations) to integrate available resources efficiently in the development and creation of the training programs.

Key responsibilities:
Organize and conduct
Face to Face training sessions
for the Diagnostics Specialists Field Force, office-based support functions or distribution partners in transferring
technical-, medical- and commercial related product knowledge
including practical implementation at customer level in comparison with local environment.
Provide continuously
onboarding training programs
for Diagnostics Specialists hires and new Distribution partners.
Organize, conduct and create
Online modules or Webinars
for
the existing or new Diagnostics portfolio
Refresher, Follow-up or Advanced training purpose
Develop, design and update continuously the
sales-oriented training curriculum
and materials for diagnostics capital equipment in correlation with the market structure and evolution and by including the International
Commercial Operations Team
.
Develop, design and update continuously the
technical-oriented training curriculum
and materials for diagnostics capital equipment in correlation with the market structure and by including the International
Customer Care Technical Support Team.
Facilitate, coordinate and improve the learning sessions with
practice-oriented role plays, lab workshop approaches
and other
efficient learning tools
(i.e. online quizzes, newsletters) in collaboration with IL&D and the countries to ensure an alignment with the local specificities.
Identify and assess
product knowledge and technical skills gaps
and readjust with a corrective action plan proposal to the market(s) if required.
Maintain proactively a global vision and knowledge of the Diagnostics market environment (markets changes, opportunities and challenges as well as customer’s needs, global diagnostics specificities, competition, new laws that may be relevant for the business, ) to update the training content timely and share with the community. To that effect, keep regularly in touch with the community, consider conducting field rides, use internal resources from in market colleagues’ experienceDevelop further and facilitate the

Training certification program
process
in alignment with IL&D and
measure the impact of the training
learnings on the business.
Maintain
records
of the training sessions and materials
.
Qualifications and Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Understanding of Animal health & Diagnostic solutions (for veterinarians preferred).
Candidate should have relevant sales experience, preferably in animal health or human pharmaceuticals and ideally in Diagnostics.
Ability to transfer knowledge and adapt to different type of audiences.
Ability to interact with cross functional team members and stakeholders in a problem-solving, constructive manner.
Fluent in English is required, additional languages may be an advantage (i.e. Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, other).
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Excellent organizational skills.
Highly comfortable in presenting and transferring knowledge and incorporate key strategies in the learning programs.
Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills required

Travel requirement:
This position may require frequent international travels in different markets.
This position is attached to the ZOETIS office based in Griesheim, Germany. Ideally the candidate may be based in Europe.
