Job Description Telefónica Global Roaming GmbH (TGR) develops the international wholesale roaming business on behalf of all Telefónica affiliates worldwide, covering brands like o2, Movistar and VIVO. Through its experienced commercial team and its network of partners covering the entire globe TGR maximizes value for the Telefónica group and other partners, so they can provide connectivity to their customers across borders. The finance&control area is responsible for all finance-related aspects of the legal entity, supporting as well the business areas as

Mission

:
establish & perform controlling function for a new business line, manage budget and through your support drive business to achieve financial targets. provide business analysis, define and optimize adequate reporting&planning tools and work on processes optimization for new as well as established business lines. collaborate closely with commercial area and support as well management in decision-making. main responsibilities:

• establish business cases (pricing, profitability) - review of commercial offers/contract drafts - business planning (monthly forecast, yearly budget, strategic plan) - establish project controlling for monitoring of ongoing business - monitoring invoicing + cashflow - checking and data reconciliation with other tef group entities as well as external partners - monthly business reporting - actuals vs budget - analysis of deviations vs budget and identification of drivers and recommended actions - business reviews with commercial area - participation in monthly financial closing & corporate reporting process - participation in financial audits - representation of senior finance & control manager nature of problems/challenges:

you will be working in a strongly international environment with exposure to stakeholders from different backgrounds. therefore it's important you are able to develop good relationships. in your role you will have to support the commercial area and at the same time be advocate of the financial targets of the company. since you will contribute to estbalish and develop a new business line you should have a pro-active, hands-on mindset, looking for constant improvements. education:

degree in business administration, industrial engineering or other if combined with adequate working experience experience:

minimum 2-3 years of working experience in financial or commercial context specific skills:

• good communication skills * teamworker * strong analytical skills & affinity with numbers * business acumen * diligence and good self-organization * ability to work under pressure * conflict handling technical knowledge:

ms office appliactions, in particular proficiency in excel. sap. knowledge in databases is an advantage. knowledge in ifrs accounting rules. knowledge of german accounting principles and legal framework is an advantage. languages:
