- Responsibility for the development and implementation of an overall medical affairs strategy as well as for KOL management, in line with the global strategy, across EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa) region for Merz Aesthetics
- Monitoring of the market developments within the EMEA region with regards to Medical Affairs trends and the development of the Merz Aesthetics product portfolio
- Leading and development of the regional Medical Affairs team in close collaboration with the local and global Medical Affairs team
- Responsibility for medical and scientific projects
- Management of the medical communication and information
- Cross-functional collaboration with the marketing, commercial excellence and digital department as well as with R&D and regional departments
- Ownership and management of the regional medical affairs budget
- Member of the Regional Leadership Team
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Academic degree in medicine or science, or comparable professional with MD or PhD
- Experience in medical affairs in the pharmaceutical / medical device industry and preferably additionally in the aesthetic market
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as people manager
- Fluent in English, other EMEA languages are an advantage
- Pro-active and result driven as well as high customer orientation
- Excellent project management skills and knowledge of performance managing methods
- Leadership and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel within the EMEA region and occasionally intercontinental
