Sales Agent / Consultant - Fashion.
My client is currently seeking an experienced and successful candidate with a strong track record to join them as their new Sales Agent or Commercial Consultant. The role will be focused on driving orders and revenue into retailers across the UK and Europe on their bags side of the business. My client offers some fantastic solutions from modern fashion to back to school.

The Agent / Consultant will work on a commission or retained basis (salary to be discussed), based on successful orders. They will use their existing network and experience to build strong contacts within the retail and fashion world. They will update senior management here in the UK and India on a regular basis, forecasting, working closely with production, marketing, manufacturing teams to provide samples to prospective customers and fulfil orders and close business.

Anforderungsprofil

The successful candidate for this Sales Agent or Consultant role will come with the following skills and experiences already gained in their career:
  • Track record of sales performance within the retail world, with demonstrable experience selling into retail & supermarket chains, and up to date network of contacts who they have worked for previously or currently.
  • Experience of selling bags, accessories or similar categories in the fashion (branded and own label) world, along with excellent product knowledge.
  • Experience winning business at C-Suite level.
  • Strong communication, presentation and financial skills - as well as excellent planning ability and experience at building strong sales pipelines
  • Strong project managements skills, able to deliver key milestones to customers.
  • Very proactive approach to sales, used to being out and about, meeting customers and driving new lasting relationships.
  • Strong passion for research, networking and being able to identify new sales opportunities.
  • A self-starter and self-motivated candidate who can work in a standalone role with autonomy.
  • Hungry and ambitious to work towards excellent sales incentives.
With a head office in the London area, we are flexible on locations across England. However for the right candidate, we are open across the UK and mainland Europe for those candidates interested.

Vergütungspaket

This role is a commission-only position, however a retainer for someone self-employed is also and option. A strong commission plan is available to be agreed at conception. This can all be discussed with relevant candidates and parties.
