Internship Systems Initiatives & Loyalty Operations

This internship will give you an insight into the unique partnership between Design Hotels™ and Marriott International from a technology, content/revenue management systems and loyalty program point of view. You will work in a close-knit team on various projects supporting the partnership between both companies, which will include assistance in multi stakeholder communication, anticipation of member hotels’ needs and successful roll out of the Enhanced Business Model.

  • Opening: February 2020
  • Compensation: EUR 450 gross / month

The Internship must be a compulsory part of your current studies

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Provide data entry services including extracting, importing, cleaning, transforming, validating, mapping and modelling property information
  • Provide data quality assurance services including output audits, verification of entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data
  • Correspondence and troubleshooting with member hotels relating to any inquiries related to the Design Hotels™ or Marriott systems, as well as the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program
  • Participate in ad hoc projects to improve member hotels’ experience with Marriott systems and the loyalty program
  • Assist with member hotel implementation onto the Marriott distribution systems
  • Assist in creating and updating departmental SOPs
  • General administrative support of the team

Experience & Mindset

  • Basic knowledge of Excel, including creating simple calculation formulas
  • Detail-oriented, especially working with numbers
  • Fast learner with problem solving attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication
  • Previous experience working in a hotel with a global loyalty program (beneficial)
