The Position
We are looking to strengthen our GEO mission team delivering cutting edge service to our customer based in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich in the area of spacecraft operations with a talented and ambitious team member. If you have an eye for detail and love working in a dynamic and challenging workplace, then this could be your opportunity. It is a shift position working in a rotating shift pattern. It is full-time and permanent and expected starting date will be around September 2020.We are looking forward to meeting you!
Responsibilities/Duties
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Certification as a spacecraft Controller in GEO missions
- Supervision of system performance and of automatic service provision to customers
- Maintenance of actual mission planning data and the mission schedule
- Monitoring of the health status of all satellites components
- Monitoring the use of the satellite payload
- Level-l response to anomalies, based on procedures
- Data collection after anomalies
- Activation of engineering support if required
- User Help Desk first Response
- Provide regular On-call services
Qualifications/Experience
- An excellent Master´s degree in the field of Aerospace Engineering
- Excellent command over English both spoken and written
- Proven interest in Space by way of coursework, project, trainings etc.
- Fluency in German Language will be a plus

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Go-getter attitude
Further Details / Requirements
- A security clearance upto "Secret" will be requested in line with the customer requirements. Therefore, a citizenship of a EU country or a permanent stay in EU for more than 5 years is necessary.
