Responsibilities Responsible for transporting cargo from one place to another driving heavy or tractor-trailer trucks. * Transporting goods via heavy truck from pick-up point to delivery point, locally or internationally * Taking orders for new deliveries * Supervising the loading and unloading of cargo * Recording type, amount, pick-up/delivery point of goods * Planning routes using maps and/or satellite tracking, re-routing depending on road conditions * Keeping the vehicle in perfect condition at all times;

cleaning/washing the vehicle, filling up fuel etc. * Inspecting the trailer before any trip and reporting any defects or risks found * Keeping a log of all activities, reporting to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road * Following the necessary transport, health and safety and emergency rules and regulations depending on cargo type and route * Reporting mechanical problems to related personnel Requirements * Driving licence CE and driver card for day trips on solo vehicles and trailer trucks. * 3+ years of professional experience * Willingness to work at night * Following all regulatory and licencing updates
