Senior Developer for Kafka Apache (w/m/d)

Our client, a large player in the music copyright industry, is searching for 2 Senior Developers for Kafka Apache (m/f/d). They are both remote positions and English speaking. The initial contract is for 2 months with an extension likely. A minimum of 24 hours a week must be worked and a maximum of 40 hours a week may be worked.

You are responsible for:
 
The development of our Event-Streaming Prototype in Kafka Apache
 
Getting the best out of the Kafka Technology and apply it in a new set of requirements
 
 
Collaborate within a Team on design
,
development and testing
 
Keeping documentation of design and code detailed and structured
 
 

Must-have skills:
 
Experience with building event-based architectures with Kafka Apache
,
Kafka Streams or ksqlDB
 
Java or Scala
 
Building applications on the AWS platform
 
Containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
 
 
CI/CD
,
Infrastructure as a Code, DevOps
 
 
Test

Driven Development
,
Version Control
 
 
Experience working with PostgreSQL
,
Oracle, or MongoDB
 
A strong comprehension of the English language
