Advertisement for an internship / working student position SUNfarming Food & Energy - Agri Solar The Food & Energy department of SUNfarming GmbH is looking for support in its team for the project development in Brazil.
SUNfarming has been active in the field of photovoltaic project planning, investment, maintenance and monitoring since 2004 and has built solar systems with a total output of more than 650 MW during this period. In addition to the implementation of small (home solar) and large (commercial) rooftop systems, SUNfarming implements PV open-space systems in Germany and other European countries with an output of several megawatts.
For some years now, the company has been pursuing the goal of implementing renewable energies in the form of solar greenhouses and specially raised open space structures that enable double use of land in developing and emerging countries near the equator (Africa, South America and Asia) with the Food & Energy - Agri Solar concept. The quality of life of the local population is sustainably increased by growing local food, creating apprenticeships and jobs as well as emission-free generation of electrical energy.
In our Food & Energy Team, the intern / working student is immediately involved in all ongoing work processes. For the duration of 6 months (internship) or 12 months (working student position) we are looking for a person to start immediately. Your tasks include:
- Support of project development in Brazil • Interface between the teams in Brazil and Germany • Preparation of proposals for international projects • Support of the Food & Energy / International department • Development of business models for international markets
- Master student in economic engineering, or similar studies at a Hochschule/ University in Germany • Interest in the field of renewable energies • Good communication skills and be able to work as a team player • Solution-oriented, structured and the ability to work independently • Flexible and ability to work under pressure • Excellent language skills in Portuguese (native preferred) and English, other language skills would be
