Head of Mechanical Cell Design (m/f/x)
Your tasks:
- You will lead a team of Article Engineers responsible for the various aspects of mechanical cell design (pouch, cylindrical, prismatic).
- You and your team are responsible for the development of new mechanical and electrical designs together with advanced technology
- You will manage the collaboration of your teammembers with the component suppliers
- You are responsible for the coordination of your team with process engineering and electrochemical cell design for the realization of the new cell design.
- You have to exploite the potential of the team and manage it accordingly.
- You will help shape the company's technology roadmap.
- You have to make sure that all relevant parties are in close contact with each other.
Your profile:
- A successfully completed Master's degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering- a doctorate would be an advantage
- Experience in the mechanical design of lithium-ion cells
- Knowledge in scaling technologies to functional battery cells
- Fluent in English
- Communication, consulting, negotiation skills and persuasiveness are among your strengths
- Already coordinated and promoted interdisciplinary teamwork
- Computer skills (MS Office package, SAP)
- Proper in adequately using modern electronic data processing systems
