The Global In House Recruitment team at Phaidon are
international, positive and driven individuals
who strive to hire the best talent for Phaidon. We largely operate in the
Graduate and Early Career Market
and so are instrumental in bringing on board our future leaders and providing a unique opportunity for individuals to progress quickly, develop commercial and life skills, earn uncapped commission and have international exposure at a young age!

We are now looking to add a Fluent German speaker to look after our hiring in Berlin the new addition to our In House Recruitment team will be in a unique position to really be part of the growth and development of the offices and the imminent expansion of Phaidon across DACH

.
We very much look, feel and act like a sales team and are
valued partners to Senior Stakeholders
not only in Phaidon's journey to get 1100 people by 2020 but also
in driving culture
. In terms of Berlin we opened our office last January with 4 people and it was the most successful opening in Phaidon' s history! We are now at 24 people and looking to double that by the end of this year and be at 100 pax across the DACH region by the end of 2020.

In line with this expansion, there is a huge opportunity for personal growth and international relocation and as well as a competitive base we also offer our In House team uncapped commission and access to the same reward and recognition as our 360 recruiters.

We envisage this role looking to hire a junior member of staff within 6-9 of months of joining the business and
together you would look after the hiring across DACH
. The role is very much a partner to our Executive Director and will most certainly have elements of both HR, Strategy and Ops built into the function as we expand in DACH

Internal Recruitment / Talent Team in a fast growing business
. Experience of operating in the Graduate or Early Career Market would be an advantage.

The role of an In House Recruiter:
  • You will be playing an integral part in our expansion acting as the face of our business to potential candidates and partners
  • You will build a strategy to continually attract and hire top talent across Europe to join our office in Berlin (and eventually across DACH)
  • You will be actively sourcing and interviewing candidates as well as managing the entire candidate experience, ensuring that every single candidate has a best in class experience with us, regardless of whether they are successful.
  • Alongside using job boards you'll be posting advertisements, running In House assessment centres, attending events on Campus at top Universities across Europe (Career Fairs, on-campus interviews, seminar workshops, and business presentations), as well as gaining referrals and attending networking events.
  • Partnering with our Marketing department to build and adapt our Employer brand and messaging to the DACH market
  • Working with our On Site Learnng and Development manager to train and coach Hiring managers on Interview techniques.
  • You will be working in close partnership with our Senior Stakeholders across Europe to work on achieving the goals of the business and driving the culture together.
  • You'll be working closely with the people you hire as they become colleagues, acting as an independent point of contact and watch them grow as they develop in their careers within the business.

  • You have a proven track record of working to targets and deadlines often going above and beyond.
  • You are incisive-adaptable to changing situations and a quick learner.
  • You can work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks.

  • You are used to managing up and partnering with senior stakeholders
  • You have a calm and consultative nature when it comes to problem solving
