This is what you enjoy
- As Lead Accounting & Finance - Germany, you will handle all accounts receivable & payable management and ensure the timely processing of overdue payments with customers and vendors
- You will prepare and review the quaterly analytical review - sales, SGNA & balance sheet schedules
- You will also be responsible for tax compliance - preparing and filing tax returns, including VAT returns on an annual basis
- You will prepare and file monthly reports with the authorities: VAT, Intrastat and EC sales
- You will also ensure compliance with withholding tax on all milestone/royalty payments and report the same to the authorities on a quarterly basis, ensuring that withholding tax certificates are sent to partners
- You will coordinate with external auditors to meet legal and statutory requirements, including the preparation of financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- You will also review trial balances and prepare the required schedules
- Finally, you will ensure compliance with SOX controls and regular review of RCM (Risk Control Metrics)
- You have a degree in Economics with a focus on Accounting/Finance or commercial training with further training as an accountant
- You have several years of experience in SAP, German GAAP/IFRS accounting principles and a good knowledge of all MS Office programs
- You have the ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- You communicate proactively and effectively
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile
