About the role:

As a software architect, you develop innovative solutions in the software architecture area, generate patents and work to develop new standards in IoT 

Through research activities, you identify trends and work on making them available to other parts of Siemens and our customers
You act as internal consultant for Siemens businesses in area of software architecture, design of systems and modern technologies use and implementation

Your tasks will also include active knowledge sharing with colleagues in the Research Group and the other Siemens departments

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed your university degree in software engineering (standard period of study over 4 years) or have equivalent experience in business
• You have experience in the area of modular and service-based platform architectures for digitization solutions as well as in agile software development
• Knowledge of the areas of cloud, microservices, container technologies, API management and continuous deployment are among your strengths
• You demonstrate in-depth expertise in the field of object-oriented analysis, design and programming as well as possess very good knowledge of Java and C#
• Fluent German and English
