The Role:
  • As Lead DevOps Engineer, you hold technical responsibility for the tool chain used to manage our portfolio of Financial Services, APIs and Software applications
  • Your mandate comprises the technical implementation of DevOps principles (such as Continuous Integration / Deployment and Configuration Management) as well as the automated monitoring of the production environment across all system levels
  • Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders and lead a team of internal and external experts for designing, deploying and maintaining different solutions
  • Derive and consolidate system-generated KPIs as a basis for program steering in close collaboration with management, reporting directly to the CTO
  • Build out new Application Performance Management system from the ground up

Your Profile:
  • Passion for building maintaining high quality infrastructures and architectures
  • Leadership capabilities are essential
  • You must have demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and mentoring teams of developers, junior or otherwise
  • The ideal candidate must be able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently, but must also have the desire to WANT to develop their skill set as required “We are looking for a technical professional that ‘burns’ for the job

Your Skillset:
  • University degree in business information technology, information systems, computer science or business with a focus on software/IT or a comparable education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in system management for cloud-based, customer facing web applications, ideally with experience in Amazon, SAP Cloud or CloudFoundry environments
  • Outstanding expertise in deployment, integration and configuration management (e.g. Jenkins, Ansible, Docker) as well as cloud server infrastructure (e.g. Linux, SQL, AWS, SAP Cloud)
  • Process and quality orientation (e.g. certifications in dev languages, program models, architecture styles, experience in PCI compliant software, etc.)
  • Expert understanding of modern development tool chains and automated system monitoring tools
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
  • Fluency in English
