Team Lead Non-Financial//Operational Risk
My clients who are a modern bank offering financing solutions for small and medium-sized companies are currently looking for a Team lead in operational risk, to look over a team of 5 people.
As Team Lead NFR (m / f / d) you take over the leadership of the existing team for non-financial risk management. Your tasks include:
Development, implementation and further development of risk-based monitoring of business activities and effective risk management
Escalation of risk events as well as coordination of review and legal lesson learned processes
Operational excellence: helping to design stable and scalable work processes
Responsibility for ensuring business continuity and risk management
Regular risk inventory on topics from the areas of: Operational Risk, Compliance Risk, Regulatory Risk, Culture Risk, IT Risk and Reputational Risk
Responsibility for risk & control assessments, monitoring and implementation of existing risk controls and minimum standards
Responsibility for the incident reporting system and the control of mitigation measures
Participation in the audit process and its follow-up
Design and long-term participation in the NFR management framework as well as the further development of effective governance approaches between the locations Berlin, Frankfurt and Amsterdam
Ideally, you will have:
Successfully completed studies in business administration, business informatics, business mathematics or similar.
Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably with a management consultancy or project work in a company's risk management
Knowledge of project management and experience in working as a risk analyst or advisor, coverage manager or risk type controller are an advantage
Conscientiousness and a high degree of responsibility
Experience in leading teams
Excellent communication and team skills, as well as a high level of problem-solving skills and quick comprehension
Proficient in German and English
