This Change Management Assistant role is located in the People and Change Group (PCG) and reports to the Change Management Specialist. PCG is based at the UNOPS Headquarters in Copenhagen. Its mission is to empower effective leadership and high-performing talent as well as to enable business transformation pursuit of organizational excellence and a culture of innovation. The Change Management Assistant will support the delivery of change management activities related to Finance and Administration strategic projects. The ideal candidate will have an international outlook, project support and excellent communication skills. The role will offer insight into working in a United Nations organization and experience in a dynamic, international environment.

1. Coordination support for change management programmes

Support the Change Management Specialist to coordinate change impact, change readiness and change adoption activities.
Provide coordination support for stakeholder meetings, events, workshops and other events as required.
Support document management (File organization, categorization).
Support the development of change management surveys, particularly by coordinating online platforms.
Conduct research as required in relation to change management projects.
Provide support to the Change Management Specialist on roll-out of planned change management programmes as required.

2. Internal communication support

Assist in the development and presentation of correspondence, reports, presentations and training materials for internal clients.
Assist in the development of change management workshop materials, in close coordination with the change management team.
Support the Change Management Specialist to develop, implement and monitor communication plans.
Coordinate and manage the publication of communications packages to the intranet and/or other online systems.

Experience:

A minimum of 4 years of experience in change management, business administration, project management, human resource management or communications support and coordination is required.

Project coordination experience is strongly desirable.
Experience in working in an international environment is desirable.
Experience in supporting stakeholder communication programmes is desirable.

Language requirements:

  • Full working knowledge of English is essential.
  • Knowledge of official UNOPS languages is an asset
