Internship Channel Analytics

The internship gives an insight into the daily tasks of our Channel Analytics department and a broad understanding of hotel performance indicators and distribution landscape.

The Internship must be a compulsory part of your current studies

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Assisting with building strategy workshops at member hotels including:
  • Source market and market share analysis
  • Competitor analysis and price positioning using a price value matrix
  • Detailed travel agent data analysis using TravelClick Agency360 application
  • Review and audit the Global Distribution System (GDS) of member hotels by using the live Travel Agent portal (Sabre Red)
  • Overlooking Design Hotels seasonal marketing campaigns including:
  • Ensuring correct loading of agreed campaigns
  • Investigating low performance on campaigns
  • Measuring campaign success with tracking reports
  • Responsibility for the global availability audits and liaise with account management to ensure timely resolution of availability issues of member hotels
  • Understanding the Synxis Central Reservation System (Booking engine, GDS, OTA) by supporting distribution technology team in the loading of member hotel rates
  • Corresponding with member hotels relating to Revenue Management related inquiries and requests
  • General administrative support of the department

Experience & Mindset

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; German is not required
  • Very good analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS office (especially Excel)
