Business Development Manager EMEA
- Identify and explore wholly new markets in the EMEA region, contributing to business impact by introducing proven IPG solutions for industrial lasers across various industries
- Prospect and bring opportunities to a fruition where they may be handed off to IPG Sales
- Work together with Global Marketing to select and drive promotional activities to support successes and enhance the IPG Photonics brand in new EMEA markets
- Maintain daily communication with IPG customers and colleagues across the globe
- Convey and align strategy to internal stakeholders and IPG executives
- Deliver tangible results ultimately measured by IPG revenue and profitability in the new market selected for development
- Business, Marketing or Technical degree
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Sales or Product roles with large, international companies
- Proven success with customer-facing responsibilities
- Demonstrated technical breadth and initiative to identify opportunity in unexplored markets
- Strong presentation skills to quickly engage industries unfamiliar with lasers or our company
- Capable of strategic thinking and able to convey strategy and data to senior executives
- Excellent work ethic and strong communication skills
- Project and/or team management skills are a plus
