Job Description Position Summary Planning, initiating and actively driving forward Memory & TFT-LCD sales within assigned sales area. Growing business / market share and securing long-term leadership by maintaining / expanding existing business, identifying new business opportunities and generating new future business. Role and Responsibilities * Develop, maintain, intensify and expand close customer relationship * Identify potential new customers / markets and business opportunities * Negotiate prices and volumes with the customers in coordination with product marketing and HQ * Monitor the sales results, report the achievements by product and by customer to the Head of Branch together with updated sales plans and strategies * Observe and analyse existing and emerging markets and trends * Identify new projects and initiate and follow-up product qualification / design-in * Monitor field sales operations and control achievements by product, area and customer * Arrange technical / commercial product presentations in-house and on customer site * Plan and carry out professional promotion activities in consultation and cooperation with assigned product portfolio * Analyse and evaluate business results and submit regular business reports * Prepare, supervise and monitor the relevant Global Supply Chain including forecast Skills and Qualifications EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS/ ATTRIBUTES:

  • University degree / Master degree qualified or equivalent in electronics or a related subject * 4+ years of relevant professional experience in a sales, product marketing or application function within the semiconductor area, preferably in Memory * Extensive sales thinking and pro-active / consultative sales approach * Strong customer orientation * Persuasive and professional presenting products / technologies and concepts to customers * Good knowledge of Memory application markets and customers (mobile, computing, telecom, networking, automotive) * System know-how in Memory application segments of advantage * Very good communication skills and ability to negotiate at all levels * Self-starter being able to work under minimum supervision * Initiative and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment * Assertive, determined, flexible and creative personality * Ability to work in a team and to manage a team * Familiarity to work with state of the art software applications (MS-Office, SAP/R3) * Fluent in German and English language * Please visit Samsung membership to see Privacy Policy, which defaults according to your location.
