The Power Grids business delivers products, systems, service and software solutions as part of its comprehensive power & automation offering for the grid across the power value chain - serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure customers.

You as a Global Planning & Fulfillment Specialist, will be part of Power Grids business and Transformers Business Line reporting to the Global BU Planning & Fulfillment Manager, you are responsible for supporting the development of the Planning & Fulfillment processes, skills and tools. Leading performance improvement projects.

Your responsibilities

  • Analysis : Performing standard and ad hoc detailed analyzing for planning & fulfillment metrics Identifying key root causes for non-performance. Leading / contributing to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory, material availability, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy. Using lean 6 sigma tools whenever applicable. Collaborating with other units in the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Subject matter expert : Specific expertise in Sales & Operations Planning, Demand Planning, Master Planning, Detailed Scheduling, Operative Purchasing, Material Planning. Establishing and sharing best practices for their respective area. Conducting benchmarking across similar organizations.
  • Strengthen the organization : Training and coaching Demand Planners, Operations Planners, Master Planners, Operative Purchasers and Material planner. Developing the overall competency of the organization.
  • Technology : Facilitating fit-gap analyses of IS tools, assist with deployment of standard IS solutions for Planning & Fulfillment, and provide professional support for users.
  • Reporting : Compiling and sending monthly report out to business leaders on planning and fulfillment performance.
  • Safety and Integrity : Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in all or any part of the Planning & Fulfillment areas in factories and in HUB.
  • Experience in application of Project Management and Lean/Six Sigma methodology.
  • SAP knowledge of PP and / or MM module, WM module is a plus.
  • Proven evidences of process optimization, supply chain mindset, change management, mentoring and coaching.
  • Strong business analytical ability.
  • Strong communication skills in English, other language is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
