Job Details

One of our clients, a big pharmaceutical company producing generic products, is looking for a Financial Controller / Senior Accountant, for their office in Hamburg, Germany.

He will be reporting directly to the CFO in Switzerland, therefore the responsibilities are big, as well as the career progression opportunities!
Tasks

• Full responsibility for all financial accounts of the German entities
• Responsible for the all G/L transactions (incl. inventory, provisions etc.)
• Processing and booking of invoices, travel expenses and credit card statements
• Reconciliation and maintenance of customer and vendor accounts
• Responsible for VAT, tax and other local reports for the German entities
• Support management for various reporting and budgeting
• Support local functions (such as sales, regulatory and supply chain)
• Contact person to external service providers as banks and auditors
• Intercompany reconciliation support
• Responsible for cash planning and payments processing
• Maintenance & improvement of processes including in NAVISION
• Support HR and admin tasks

Profile

• Enthusiastic; energetic; organised; "Can Do" and positive attitude; independent;

reliable and very hands on

• Relevant education
• Min. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience including accounting exposure
• Good communication and analytical skills; attention to details
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and to perform consistently in a dynamic

environment

• Fluency in English and German
• Experience with ERP (NAV - Advantage) and high-level skills of Excel (including large

data sets, pivot tables…)
