JOB DESCRIPTION Operations and tasks performed by a Chief Operator are to be completed without direct supervision and as directed by the supervisor. The Chief Operator is to participate in field operations and shop work including, but not limited to preparation, rig up, operation, maintenance and rig down. A Chief Operator will perform the duties of a night supervisor when required. They are to demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring skills. 1. 1 Participate in pre-job meeting with crew. 1. 2 Ensure you and other crew members are equipped with all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and clothing;

(steel toed work boots,FR (Fire Retardant) coveralls, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection plus where necessary specialized equipment such as self-contained breathing apparatus). 1. 3 Perform all tasks in a safe professional manner and follow SOPs. 1. 4 Perform and actively participate in all required safety meetings, JSAs and walk around/shift handover. 1. 5 Perform pre-deployment checks for equipment, tools and parts. 1. 6 Supervise the load out of equipment following company procedures, and as directed by the supervisor. 1. 7 Collect equipment SOPs, JSAs, and MSDS for equipment to be transported to location. 1. 8 Supervise and participate in the installation of a unit or system to be tested, including rig up and rig down of all test equipment, and indicating instruments, as per P&ID. 1. 9 Complete operations forms and checklists. 1. 10 Supervise and perform pressure tests, function tests, as per relevant SOP and equipment design specifications. 1. 11 Supervise, operate, repair and maintain surface well test equipment. 1. 12 Monitor equipment controls and instrumentation, and accurately record test data for engineer and client use. 1. 13 Supervise and perform liquid sampling and analysing and verify quality. 1. 14 Perform equipment maintenance and repair work as assigned by the supervisor. 1. 15 Lead troubleshooting of equipment and process. 1. 16 Notify supervisor of needed spare parts and consumables. 1. 17 Collect WPTS requirements for job reporting and performance records. 1. 18 Report all incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe working environments to the site supervisor. 1. 19 Understand equipment working parameters. 1. 20 Supervise and perform preventative maintenance on equipment. 1. 21 May be asked to take supervisor/assessor training and perform competence assessments, as per WFT Competence Program. 1. 22 Maintain close contact with the site supervisor regarding work assignments;

promptly report all concerns regarding equipment/process to the supervisor. 1. 23 Communicate with onsite company representative regularly - and coordinate with site supervisor, eve. shift. 1. 24 Perform operations as per OCP/SOPs and ensure crew is aware of correct safe operations. 1. 25 Assist with DAQ cable rig in, as per direction of the supervisor. 1. 26 DAQ reading and data collection as a DAQ User, (or may be performed by DAQ Technician/Specialist if available). 1. 27 Monitor sensors and ensure they are reading within parameters (or may be performed by DAQ Technician/Specialist if available). 1. 28 Complete common calculations as required. 1. 29 Communicate with DAQ Technician to confirm project data collection procedure. 1. 30 Verify and validate manual data against DAQ. 1. 31 Responsible for good housekeeping and cleanliness on location and in the workshop. 1. 32 Operate company vehicle according to the Weatherford Driver and Vehicle Safety Policy. 1. 33 Take an active role and participate in Weatherford's Quality Improvement Process and comply with all requirements of the Product Line Operational Control Plan (OCP). 1. 34 Maintain clear and professional communications with all crewmembers and company representatives. 1. 35 Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions. 1. 36 Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford. 1. 37 Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level. 1. 38 Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. QUALIFICATIONS * 3-5 years specific Surface Well Testing field and/or shop experience * good Eanglish level, good German it is a plus * Good leadership and mentoring skills * Computer skills, general navigation and MS Office * Ability to remain focused and
