Our client is recruiting for a
ERP NAV QA Specialist
to join their expanding team based in Berlin.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance and Testing of new developments in the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Represent the QA perspective in integrating business processes in the ERP system
- Preparing, developing, maintaining and executing quality ERP test plans, test cases and test scripts to ensure ERP software
- Responsible for preparing, developing, maintaining and executing ERP functional, regression, user acceptance (UAT) and performance testing
- Report software bugs and verify fixes from development
- Perform quality audits across various ERP business functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed
- Assist in the development of quality assurance procedures and testing standards for the ERP application throughout the development life cycle
- Plan, design, implement, execute, evaluate and report deficiencies of ERP software testing under minimal supervision for projects of all scopes
- Participate in requirements/design reviews, project team meetings and implementation planning
- Assist the ERP team in project timeline definition related to testing requirements including test phases, level of effort and duration of testing activities
- Responsible for delivering assignments within specified time frames, adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines individually or as a member of the ERP team
- Independent project management of the relevant testing and monitoring issues
Skills and Requirements:
- University degree (business administration or computer science or business commercial training) and/or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience building and managing a QA/Developer/Consultant/Tester function
- Experience testing integrated ERP applications (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle)
- Knowledge in bug reporting, analysing and documenting the test results
- Experience in software requirements, development or testing with creating and executing quality assurance test plans, scenarios, cases
- Demonstrated collaboration on project teams and interaction with project managers, business and functional analysts, developers and the business community directly related to quality assurance responsibilities and roles
- Knowledge of application software development life cycle concepts, lean and agile best practices, environment and configuration management, and test management methodologies and practices
- Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- You are a team player with good communication skills
- Knowledge about the Dynamics NAV modules is plus
- Experience with Agile methodology is plus
