Job Description Qualifications * University degree ideally in computer science or similar technical disciplines * 5+ years of experience in software engineering * Strong hands-on experience with either Go or Python Knowledge on both languages would be a big plus * Experience with designing and consuming APIs (REST, RPC) * Experience in building scalable distributed systems, complex web-applications, and data processing pipelines * Entrepreneurial spirit with desire to work in an agile start-up environment * Excited about learning and gathering new technologies and related tools to introduce to the team in order to grow the agile development environment * Strong integrity, humility and tact;

excited about working in a startup environment with young and motivated colleagues * Cloud knowledge and experience on AWS and/or Azure is a big plus * Experience with C#,. NET, React would be a plus * Experience with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible is a plus * Experience in building products with analytics engine is a plus * Experience with distributed computing, big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc. ) is a plus Who You'll Work With You'll be based in Munster and be a member of Periscope's technology team in Europe. You will be an active learner, identifying new open source libraries, using unfamiliar technologies and learning new programming languages to meet technical requirements. You'll work with other senior engineers in the team, and own complete workstreams and be responsible for the complete development of different features for our products. You'll identify and escalate technical barriers, dependencies or risks, ensure technical standards and best practices are followed at all times.
