DB International Operations

acquires, initiates and manages rail operations and maintenance projects outside of Europe. We are currently looking for a design and communications intern to support our passionate and performance-driven team in our Berlin headquarters. You will gain experience in a corporate start-up active in the international mobility business, gain insights into tenders and project acquisition around the world, into how we build local companies from scratch to fully operational entities, how we steer quality and performance and enable know-how transfer to our customers, as well as back to our rail business in Germany. Last but not least, you get to experience corporate and start-up culture all in one company.

Join us as
Communication and Design Intern (f/m/d)
at our Berlin offices for 3 to 6 months for 20 to 30 hours per week, starting as soon as possible. 

Your tasks:

• Employ your creativity to enhance our internal and external communication
• Develop corporate presentations that appeal to our customers and business partners from all over the world
• Design communication materials that reflect the preferences of different countries and clients and consider the requirements of different projects
• Create advertising material that encapsulates our strengths and USPs

Your profile:

• You are enrolled in Bachelors or Masters studies of Communication, Communication Design, Media / Graphic Design or similar or you are in a gap year between Bachelor and Master
• You are a creative talent with a passion for international business and an interest in mobility 
• You have gained first experiences designing internal and external corporate communication, including presentations, print and digital media (especially websites)
• You display strong social and intercultural competence
• You are able to work both independently and as part of a diverse team
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign (knowledge of additional tools are an advantage)
• Fluent spoken and written English is a requirement, knowledge of German is preferred. Additional language skills are an advantage.
