Job Description As Key Account Manager you would work foremost with a major german OEM. You create long term relations with customers and key stakeholders at different levels. Negotiate contracts and prices with customers in line with the Commercial strategy GPT. Monitor defined KPI's (Opportunity management, price management, recoveries etc. ) and monthly forecast for your customers, yearly budget planning (good Excel skills). You are also responsible for managing customer escalations at working and senior levels.

• Ensure that we meet/exceed regional goals. * Develops and drives regional strategy. * Develops customer relationships. * Represent Sensata in management meetings with clients. * Reports customer progress to internal management. * Controls pipeline development. * Drives innovation

Position Requirements

:

• bachelors or masters degree level in engineering/technical business administration. * minimum 3-5 years sales experience in the automotive market. * profound understanding of and ideally existing network to main customers in europe. * enjoys challenging commercial discussions with purchasing. * excellent communication skills, plus a high degree of self-motivation, self-organization and determination. * a natural commercial attitude (ability to close a deal), a focus on contributing to the customer requirements and a drive to solve problems rather than report them. * commercial skills, negotiating skills customer orientation, presentation skills, understanding for future business potential. * fluency in english + german is essential. * used to work towards tough commercial goals rather than daily micro-tasks. * willing to travel mainly within europe and comfortable working from an home office.
