We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Deputy Project Director to join our team to help us shape the future.
Based in Wuppertal, Germany within our PowerLinks Team. You will be working on the newly awarded
A-Nord Corridor project
, one of the longest
HVDC
(High Voltage Direct Current) underground cable connections in the world.
Prysmian will be responsible for the full lifecycle from cable design and manufacture through to installation, testing and commissioning for a
2GW underground cable system. You will have significant project involvement in
driving the energy transition to more sustainable solutions, using state-of-art cable technology
.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING 
FOR
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager/ Deputy

Project Director with the following skills and motivations:
Extensive experience
within a Senior PM/Project Director position in a related industry/environment.
Proven track record in successfully executing multi-disciplined projects.
Delivery of projects with successful adherence to H&S targets in a highly regulated industry.
Delivered on a variety of industry related projects across a range of sectors and customers
Proficiency in English and German (Professional/Native).
Honours degree
in a Technical Engineering Subject
Approved Project Management qualification (IPMA, PMP, PRINCE or similar) 
would be highly desirable
Availability to travel
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and ensure the overall direction of a complex project
including the management of multiple work streams and phases being managed by Project Managers/Senior Project Managers.
Manage and ensure contractual commitments and financial and operating objectives are met for an assigned project, coordinating with Head of Contract and Project Management, Business Functions, Chief Operating Officer and Regional Project Director

Manage and maintain relationships with the Customer Project Management / Director.
Manage the overall Project performance in terms of Time, Cost, QHSE requirements, Schedule and Interfaces
Monitor the performance of Project Managers assigned to the projects under their responsibility being ready to take the ownership of some initiatives in case of escalation;

Be accountable at HQ Level for the entire Project from an execution and financial point of view
