HR Senior Manager DACH (GERHR2019) Berlin, Germany
HR Senior Manager DACH is covering 2 broad areas of responsibility:
- HR Business Partner (HRBP) Support for Germany, Austria & Switzerland.
- HR Oversight of legal local back office operations activities.
HR Business Partnering - Delivers HR management services to DACH
.
- Recruitment - works with managers to identify appropriate talent acquisition processes and ensures managers can articulate clear and appropriate selection criteria when recruiting.
- Responsible for talent acquisition administration and on-boarding activities including posting of advertisements, process management, contract generation, new hire administration / onboarding in Workday (HRIS) and HR orientation for new colleagues.
- Partners with managers and colleagues as needed with the execution and implementation of Zoetis HR processes, policies, plans, and programs.
- Coaches leaders to have clear and straightforward conversations with people about their strengths, limitations, development needs and career aspirations.
- Partners with leaders to develop and implement colleague engagement proposals and plans.
- Assist with escalated conflict management, negotiation and consultation.
- Work in partnership with senior managers to identify talent then implement and embed talent management processes.
- Works closely with DACH Leadership, and HR Operations, HR Global teams to determine appropriate compensation structures and programs including coordination of job evaluations to identify appropriate pay and level.
- Manages inputs, validates and approves the payroll process for DACH site and ensures SOX and audit compliance, working closely with Finance Team
- Resolves HR process and policy questions and colleague issues through multiple communication channels
- Handles all employee and manager questions for DACH, according to self service principle
- Provides input to the Zoetis Colleague Services knowledgebase and contributes ideas to improve processes or performance
- Continuous Improvement of HR processes and systems
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and / or country laws and practices
- Develop understanding of HR operations and the Zoetis organization
- Demonstrate empathy to the colleague’s situation and speaks in a manner / tone the colleague can understand and relate with
- Work to meet expected service levels and business performance goals
- Escalate colleague issues to appropriate party as appropriate
- Document all grievances and resolution processes and outcomes in accordance with legislative and company requirements
- Support change programs and initiatives
- Support colleague engagement and cultural programs and initiatives
- Perform special projects and related duties, as assigned
Education & Experience required
- English, German,
- University degree in Human Resources
- Minimum 8 years experience
- Minimum Manager / Senior Associate HR level experience within a commercial operation company including labour relations and HR operations including payroll
- Superior knowledge of German labour laws and statutory requirements
- Familiarity with payroll systems and processes and good attention to detail
- Demonstrated skills and experience in influencing key decision makers and building relationships
