Desktop Support Engineer - German Speakers

For one of Europe's fastest growing clients, we are currently seeking an experienced
Dekstop Support Engineer - German
language dependency that should be passionate about technology and demonstrate depth and breadth of expertise in similar roles.
This will be a stable 6-12 months' contract in 
Germany 
paying above the market rates.

The ideal 'Desktop Support Engineer' will have the following experiences:


Key Skills Required:
  • Technical helpdesk or technical call centre experience is necessary.
  • Disciplined, systematic problem-solving skills required.
  • Hands on experience in troubleshooting Lotus Notes
  • Windows Operating systems
  • Clients: Windows10, Windows7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000
  • Servers: Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows 2008, windows2012
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, office 365
  • ITSM ticketing tools such as Service Now
  • Remote desktop connectivity applications like SCCM, WebEx, Live Meeting, and Windows Native tools
  • MS Office Suite (XP, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013): MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Outlook, MS Project, and MS Visio
  • Internet browsers (e.g. Explorer, Chrome, Firefox),
  • VPN and remote dial-in users
  • Support for laptop, desktops, and printers
  • PDA and blackberry/iPhone support
  • Others: Adobe Acrobat and other common desktop applications like Winzip, etc
  • Asset management life cycle
