Sales Manager Entertainment

drives commission revenue for Design Hotels™ globally. You are responsible for planning and executing sales activities and for increasing brand awareness in the segment.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the client database by establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with key entertainment travel bookers, agencies, as well as other decision-makers
  • Assist in developing and regularly updating the global event calendar
  • Plan, manage and execute the sales strategy and sales activities for the segment
  • Achieve sales and revenue targets by managing and increasing group bookings through active sales calls
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Evaluate preferred partnerships within the segment and manage key accounts
  • Implement procedures, measurement tools, and processes to maximize results of entertainment sales activities
  • Attend select global sales activities
Monitor competitors and market trends within the segment
  • Continuously optimize processes and structures and drive innovation
  • Support the global RFP process
  • Support member hotels in problem solving between the entertainment account
  • Assist in preparing the regional revenue and cost budget for the segment
  • Manage costs in line with budget
  • Prepare and manage revenue forecasts to ensure revenues are in line with budget
  • Maintain and report on the performance of entertainment markets key accounts on a monthly and annual basis
  • Act as an ambassador of the Design Hotels™ brand towards partners, clients and member hotels
  • Analyze sales statistics and ensure sales and revenue targets are achieved

Experience & Mindset

  • At least 2-3 years working experience in the hospitality and tourism industry
  • Profound knowledge in the Entertainment segment and good market knowledge
  • Existing network of clients
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Strong target orientation
  • Authentic and charismatic personality
  • Passion for travel, design, culture, and trends
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in working on macOS, knowledge of Keynote and Microsoft Excel
