Role and Responsibilities

  • You will lead a group of scientists located at Mannheim, Leverkusen and Berlin; colleagues from knoell subsidiaries may be associated in future
  • You will build-up, maintain and share practical knowledge related to Masterdata Management, SDS authoring and other Product Safety projects in a dynamic and strongly customer orientated group
  • You are responsible for the strategic personnel development and education in close cooperation with the Head of the Division PSS and the management team in terms of team building, knowledge, cooperation with all related groups, and knoell’s business strategy
  • You will communicate and closely co-operate with our clients, promote the knoell services within and outside our client network
  • You will manage resources within the knoell group; also in cooperation with related groups
  • You will promote economic thinking and responsible acting within the group

Profile and Qualifications

  • You have an university degree in chemistry, food chemistry, toxicology, biology or equivalent disciplines
  • You have several years of work experience in SDS authoring, master data management or content management
  • You have experience in managing complex projects
  • You have a decision-making ability
  • You are strongly motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • You have excellent interpersonal and team playing skills
  • You have a service oriented personality and attitude
  • You are a quick learner, able to react to new challenges
  • You have very good language skills in English and German (spoken and written); additional language skills would be an asset
  • You have the willingness to travel
