) as our global footprint continues to spread across the world, we are looking for an associate security engineer to join our cyber assurance program team in frankfurt, germany. we provide an independent viewpoint, advisory, testing, and validation services. as associate security engineer, you will learn to conduct advanced vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and other ethical hacking actions to identify issues in embedded products (iot) and software. you will help define industry requirements on cybersecurity along with other standard bodies and industry alliances. what you'll learn & achieve:

  • conduct security tests using a combination of automated and manual tools and the ability to customize domain-specific code or tools to fit non-standard testing. * conduct penetration testing against different technological domains including, but not limited to embedded devices, industrial control systems, web apps and mobile apps. * analyze and structure unknown data that is encountered during testing, including hypothesizing about purpose or constraints within the system. * assess threats and calculate risks based on vulnerabilities and exposures discovered during testing, based on international standards such as owasp, nist 800-115, opensamm among others. * create required information security documentation, technical reports, and formal papers on test findings, and complete requests in accordance with requirements. * analyze customer documentation to qualify risk management and threat analysis assessment models and to validate against requirements for certification such as iec62443-2-4. * verify security controls in the product as described in the documentation. * help drive innovation in cybersecurity services. what makes you a great fit:
