YOUR TEAM
We are building the leading tech stack across various domains that will enable automotive mobility that is safer, more sustainable and more comfortable for millions of customers globally.We will create one unified software platform for the Volkswagen Group. With the VW.os we are working on a uniform, standardized embedded operating system for more than 10 million Volkswagen Group vehicles per year. VW.AC, an automotive cloud, builds up a globally networked, cloud-based ecosystem for our cars. With our AI and machine learning capabilities we will be able to make use of the vast amount of data to make automotive mobility safer, more comfortable and more sustainable. #AutonomousDriving
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Shape the Middleware solution for the autonomous platform and projects
- Be part of the leadership team defining and developing the middleware software solution, targeting the autonomous driving platform
- Be actively involved in each step of the solution definition, including the feature definition, the architecture and the design
- Collect and analyze requirements from stakeholders and turn them into features of the framework
- Responsible for high detailed requirement specifications as well as the overall feature implementation within internal/external DevTeams or external suppliers as part of an agile team
- Actively drive the process improvement of our activities and ensure the achievement of Automotive SPICE levels necessary together with your team
WHO YOU ARE
- Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent
- Extensive experience with automotive software systems like AUTOSAR Adaptive, QNX and/or embedded Linux
- Knowledge of ADAS main functionalities
- Knowledge of state of the art high-performance SOCs for best-in-class ADAS systems for both compute platform and sensor technologies
- Experience in tools like PREEvision, Enterprise architect, Codebeamer or similar
- Open to agile working model (e.g. SAFe)
- Fluent English language skills (both oral and written), German language skills are a plus
