The Role:
- As Lead Java Architect and Developer, you hold technical responsibility for the architecture and development of their portfolio of Financial Services, APIs and SW applications
- Your mandate comprises the further development of our core Java based products which must fulfil the highest standards in quality, reliability and performance
- Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders and lead a team of internal and external experts for designing, deploying and maintaining our different solutions
- Derive and consolidate system-generated KPIs as a basis for program steering in close collaboration with management, reporting directly to the CTO
- Join and lead a rapidly expanding team of highly ambitious developers with a real passion for creating innovative solutions in an international environment

Your Profile:
- Passion for building high quality infrastructures and architectures
- Leadership capabilities are essential
- You must have demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and mentoring teams of developers, junior or otherwise
- The ideal candidate must be able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently, but must also have the desire to WANT to develop their skill set as required “We are looking for a technical professional that ‘burns’ for the job
- You seek to be measured by your results, not by hours worked
- You want to grow while creating positive impact on building a sustainable future and a product with genuinely positive ‘real-world’ applications
Your Skillset:
- University degree in business information technology, information systems, computer science or business with a focus on software/IT or a comparable education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in system development for cloud-based, customer facing web applications, ideally with experience in Amazon, SAP or CloudFoundry environments
- Outstanding expertise in designing and developing REST based Java API services
- Outstanding expertise designing and implementing high availability java microservices architecture
- Process and quality orientation (e.g. certifications in dev languages, program models, architecture styles, experience in PCI compliant software, etc.)
- Solid understanding of modern CI/CD development tool chains
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
