For our location in Karlsruhe we are looking for
Intern/ working student – Industrial IoT / PLC Programming (m/f/d)

Tasks:

As an Intern or working student Industrial IoT with a focus on PLC programming you have the chance to get involved in leading industry IoT projects and to deepen your knowledge.

  • As an intern IoT engineer/ PLC programmer you take on a variety of tasks within a product team, which is responsible for the industrial machine’s connectivity, data acquisition and data access control
  • Within the scope of industrial IoT, you will be responsible to understand the PLC programs and identify the interesting data points for process optimization
  • You will work closely with Product lead, IoT engineers and development team
  • You will be required occasionally to visit the customers factory to understand the production processes and identify the relevant data points through PLC program to read from PLC
  • The daily exchange with Product lead, customers, and development team completes your varied field of activity

Qualifications:

  • You are pursuing technical education or degree in automation technology, electrical engineering, technical computer science, mechanical engineering or similar
  • You have a sound knowledge of control programming with common automation software (eg Simatic Step 7)
  • In the fields of automation, measurement and control engineering, you have already gained initial knowledge
  • Desirable knowledge of WinCC and TIA Portal
  • You are excited to learn about Industrial IoT and cutting-edge technologies used in the field
  • Your excellent communication skills and your team spirit enrich our Product team
