Regional Account Manager – DACH

*Home office possible, must live in Germany

I am presently looking for a Regional Account Manager to join a leading global business based in Germany. 
You will be joining a group of intelligent and market aware sales professionals who like to have fun and win together. They are a highly engaged team that love bringing creative solutions to the table to help grow and transform their business. They know how to be competitive, learn and continue to support their staff and customers!

 
Responsibilities
 
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts within their upper mid-market space, customer stakeholders, executive sponsors, partners and resellers
  • Generate sales opportunities within existing customers and new clients direct and via existing channel partners
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute both short-term and long-term sales plans
  • Successfully conduct discovery calls with prospects and customers to uncover & qualify product and service revenue opportunities
  • Manage and cultivate existing and new partner/reseller relationships within the DACH region
  • Ability to forecast accurately and exceed targeted sales quotas
What they are looking for
 
  • Strong leadership traits is a must. Ability to step in to be a leader amongst peer group
  • 3-5 years of IT and technology sales experience
  • Track record of consistent over-achievement against assigned quota and KPI
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Experience working with channel and direct
  • Highly driven and self-motivated
  • Strong business acumen; polished, and articulate, comfortable selling via phone and ZOOM and presenting to decision makers
  • Must be fluent in both German and English – further languages like Italian, French, Spanish would be an advantage
