System Integration Engineer (m/f/d) Microsoft

For our client, a leading global technology company we are looking for a System Integration
Engineer (m/f/d) Microsoft in Frankfurt.

Your tasks:
Provide support for the IMAS 2 project development, operations and deployment processes by implementing the deployments of application releases to acceptance and production, often involving evening and weekend work on-site at Japan Centre in Frankfurt (for production deployments only); acting as DevOps resource in the project team to proactively bridge between the project team and the IT operational teams;handling ad-hoc requests for IT operational support,providing consultancy for the technical transition of application releases to acceptance and production,providing a single point of contact between the IMAS 2 project and the Data Centre team, ensuring technical requirements are understood and timely communicated to respective team leaders

Support the transition to automated software deployments (continuous deployments/continuous integration) in all covered environments;
Contribute to the integration of the applications with the banking standard infrastructural components (such as monitoring system, backup system, etc.);

 Proactively open service requests and incidents for IMAS and IDRA, where needed;
 Investigate and provide root cause analysis of incidents resulting in application malfunctioning, and proactively fix these incidents or where needed, involve other IT teams and business areas to identify and implement solutions;

 Support the preparation of the backup and restore testing of the applications to ensure that the system recovery is in accordance with the predefined plans and documentation;

 Support the deployments of changes to the technical infrastructure of the applications in all environments, by installing (or re-installing) revisions and releases on request by the project and by carrying out or supporting the investigations of errors or problems on these environments.

 

Your skills:
Solid knowledge and experience is a requirement on the following service components :Primary components (main focus of required services):Microsoft IIS / .NET Web application, Microsoft SQL Server (incl. SSRS, SSIS and SSRS), Windows Server, PowerShell (for deployments)

Secondary components (services/support required to a lesser extent):Oracle 12c (IDRA)
High customer- and service orientation towards both the business customers and the project team;
Proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented mind-set;
Willingness to improve IT services for the better;
Reliable personality with empathy and good communication skills;
Flexibility regarding availability to support operational activities including deployments at short notice
