Fullstack Developer

About the job – key responsibilities 

• You will develop and maintain our own high-performable platform
• You will design and implement new and exciting features
• You will write clear, tested and documented code that delivers real business value
• You will constantly refactor existing code partz
• You will be building and extending front-end and back-end components, Implementing automated tests (unit, functional, application-level)
• Assisting with platform software design with a focus on clean, pragmatic, and testable code
• Assisting the team in further refining all software-related processes to reduce iteration time

Who we are looking for 

• Academic degree in Computer Science or related discipline is a plus but not mandatory – experience is king!

Technical Qualifications

• You have worked for at least 1 year as a software developer and have a Bachelor’s Degree (or similar) in a related field
• You have at least 1 year of software development experience working with either PHP or a combination of PHP and another development language like Java or C# and can produce logically-written and maintainable code.
• You have at least 1 year of experience working with SQL or a NoSQL-related DB, have an understanding of database terminology, and can write queries joining multiple tables.
• You have at least one year of experience creating web pages with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS.
• Open personality and superior communication skills to lead both, the process and the people in transforming an idea into a successful implementation
• Fluent English skills – German is an advantage but not required
• Result-oriented – You like to set your own goals and you do your best to achieve them
• Detail-oriented – You have a high personal standard that you set for yourself and expect others to have the same
• Self-motivated – You like to get your hands dirty making things work
