Finish TripLeader Academy
You'll have 5 days to complete the academy and the final quiz. If you
score above 80% on the quiz, you'll be eligible to become a ProTripLeader
! Upon completion, you'll receive exclusive access to our tips and insights.
These unique tools provide an overview of the most popular travel destinations for the next month, ideal trip pricing, duration of your trip and much more. All of this is extremely helpful when creating your first trip.

Set up your Trip
To complete the application process, you need to
set up your dream trip.
Please note that your first trip should be published as soon as possible after passing the academy (a maximum of 5 weeks).
With JoinMyTrip, you have the freedom to design your own itinerary, set your own dates and budget, and choose your preferred destinations

It's important to note that this aspect

First, you chose your destination. If you are unsure, we can also support you based on the current demand from potential TripMates on our platform. Second, you can organize the activities, accommodation and transportation. While planning everything you can already start setting up your Trip on JoinMyTrip.com. Once done you publish your Trip on the platform and potential TripMates from all around will start requesting to travel with you. Finally, you travel with your TripMates to your dream destination.

Am I joining the Trips?
YES! It is part of our concept that TripLeaders are joining the Trip to ensure an amazing experience for their TripMates. As a TripLeader, you are the expert - you know about the top things to do, hidden gems, transportation tips, and the most delicious food to sample.

How do I get paid as a ProTripLeader?
At JoinMyTrip, being a TripLeader is not a full-time commitment; it's a flexible freelance role. This setup empowers you with control over your schedule and income. You can decide when to plan trips, aligning with your availability to travel. You determine your earnings by setting the trip price, covering expenses, and adding your fee. This model resembles platforms like Airbnb, where you have the freedom to tailor your offering. JoinMyTrip provides a platform and support without any charges.

Is this a job opportunity?
No, we used to offer full-time jobs, however, our TripLeaders wanted to have more flexibility. This is why we switched to a freelancer position! This way you have full control of your schedule!

How many trips do I need to plan?
You are asked to travel a minimum of 1 time in the next 6 months. Your trip should be published within a month after finishing the academy. Obviously, you can travel as much as you want - Some of our TripLeaders do this full-time and earn a good living with it.
