Manager for our Projectmanagementteam (m/f/d)

• Lead a team of Engineering Project Managers and develop project management procedures and best practices
• Directly supervise associates on the Project Management team with daily observation, assuring appropriate attendance, and providing assistance to team members.
• Create Product Development Plans as directed by engineering management
• Provide training and project management guidance to engineers and staff at Garmin
• Establish and lead team members in developing objectives, timelines and milestones for internal and external staff working on projects and maintain schedules through development
• Set the tone for the team environment and build healthy team relationships both inside and outside of Garmin

Your qualification

• Bachelor of Science or above in a technical discipline from college or university, or equivalent education and at least 5+ years applicable experience
• Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes and documentation
• Active participation in the target market (automotive, marine, recreation, or fitness) and demonstrated passion for the products
• Strong ability to work with production, marketing, engineering departments located internationally
• Knowledge of Garmin’s product lines and customer needs
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent Microsoft Project skills, Excel, Word and Access
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
