PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The mission of SAP Cloud Application Services is to create stable operations and accelerate the adoption of innovation for SAP customers across all deployment models of our software, on-premise, cloud and hybrid, in their journey to becoming an intelligent enterprise.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The student ill be part of the Global COO office and will support the director of global marketing and communications with internal communications, digital marketing and event management. In this role, depending on your profile and interests, you will:

Support marketing & communications in daily administrative tasks, manage and update customer reference materials and assets for sales, support and drive the creation and publication of blogs, video material and other social media content, quality control customer facing presentations, prepare management reports, support newsletter editorial process, help to organize marketing events, collect and analyze market relevant data and key figures (e.g. CTR), have a great time learning new skills and inspiring colleagues with insight and different perspectives.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Preferred fields of study: current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree, e.g. marketing/communications or arts (graphics)
Computer skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office : MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, experience with software from the Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent is a plus, knowledge of social collaboration tools (SAP Jam, Slack) is a plus

Language skills: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, German is a plus.
Soft skills: Affinity with our products and services and/or industry, great communication skills, high degree of adaptability, flexibility, strong desire to learn, professional drive, passion for marketing and communications and its best practices, current enrollment in a related BS or Masters degree

Others: Self-learning, creative mind with practical capabilities, solid understanding of different marketing and communications techniques, understanding of the principles of social selling through channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, familiarity with graphics design programs/processes/production and media production is a plus, familiarity with pre-press is a plus, familiarity with HTML table-based newsletter layouts is a plus
