Coordinator Travel Trade Relations

will support the Travel Trade Relations Team in London with all sales related activities and events.
In this role you will support, develop, manage and represent Design Hotels™ business, build strategic partnerships and liaise with key contacts throughout the allocated regions. The aforementioned will be achieved by effectively executing sales activities as set in the region’s strategy. You will work closely with the team to establish the brand Design Hotels™ to be a leading partner within the industry in this particular marketplace.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Preparation and execution of various sales activities (including logistics, sales calls, trade shows and other events)
  • Assist research and organization of Sales Missions and escort hoteliers where needed
  • Support in implementing sales strategies within the Lifestyle Leisure and Corporate segments
  • Supporting the corporate solicitation process and handling of key and target accounts
  • Support in acquiring and building personalized relationships with key clients and partners
  • General support of the team including preparation of reports, presentations, assistance in travel planning & expense handling, project management and client prospecting
  • Managing the Design Hotels™ client database and updating key contacts in the sales management tool "Nexus"
  • Correspondence with member hotels and clients
  • Overseeing the global sales activity calendar for all Design Hotels Offices
  • Representing the company in all relevant client events and trade shows
  • Assist and support the team in achieving sales objectives and goals

Experience & Mindset

  • Bachelor’s Degree and working experience in a lifestyle environment
  • Outgoing, good communicator and active networker
  • Passion for travel, design, and trends
  • Experience in organizing events and managing projects
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in working on a MAC, knowledge in Keynote, and good Excel skills
